Globe trotting troubadour Carus Thompson has toured the world alongside The John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson & Pete Murray, selling over 30,000 albums along the way.
He’s won his loyal fan base through 20 years of hitting the road, always delivering passionate, energetic, folk-rocking shows that entertain and engage.
He’s won a WAM Song of The Year, been a finalist in the highly respected International Song Writing Competition and is a favourite of local folk festivals like Fairbridge, Nannup and Bridgetown. His new album Neon Folk is his 8th studio release and has continued to build a name for this journeyman troubadour.
His passionate and genuine pub-rock approach to performance, sets him apart from the majority of singer-songwriters. A Carus Thompson show will always be a journey through quiet ballads, to all out rockers, to some dance-floor fillers, all delivered with his unpretentious, crowd-inclusive energy.
Carus will be joined for this special Workers Club show by Nathan Gaunt and Dave Johnson.
