As a result the city, particularly it's CBD has a wonderful variety of architectural styles in clear view of the discerning visitor. These styles will be explored in detail with local Heritage Architect Stephanie Keays. So come on a journey that takes in the Gothic revival movement so popular in the late 19th Century and progresses through the ages to the Art Deco style so popular in the 1920's and 30's and preserved in the globally significant Empire Theatre.
