The Birrarung Trial Floating Wetlands Walking Tour

About
City of Melbourne has installed floating wetlands in the Yarra River as a part of a trial supported by the Victorian Government. This is a significant milestone for the city-shaping Greenline Project. The lower stretch of the Yarra River Birrarung was once a rich ecosystem of riparian vegetation and seasonal wetlands, and the species diversity it supported made it an important place for the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and the people of the broader Eastern Kulin nation.Tour Dates:
