Walk in Wings by Sunshine Butterflies proudly brought to you by ‘Herbalife' is an all-inclusive accessible 3km walk along the Noosa River which aims to celebrate our community. This event is designed to promote whole-community inclusivity and will unite schools, community & sporting groups, businesses, and the general public from all walks of life.
Gather a TEAM of 4, or up to 10 members and REGISTER TODAY! Your TEAM will play a vital role in supporting 'Farmers Want a Kubota'. Sunshine Butterflies is committed to raising funds for a Kubota vehicle, which will alleviate physical strain and enhance efficiency for our team. Currently, essential tasks like feeding animals, waste disposal, and manure spreading are carried out manually with wheelbarrows. Utilizing proper equipment across our 15-acre space is essential for ensuring the welfare of our farm animals and improving working conditions for our members, staff, and volunteers. Every contribution, no matter how small, will have a profound impact on our charity!
**If you register before 12 noon on Wednesday 9th October you will go into the draw to win one of our amazing prizes!
- Staycation - 1 night stay in a two bedroom luxury apartment including buffet breakfast thanks to RACV Noosa Resort
- Adventure - Hot Air Balloon ride for 2 including full breakfast thanks to HRM
Our 2 winners will be announced on Friday 11th October at the event. The winners (if not present) will be notified by phone that day.
Please note. one ticket will be given to each person who registers.
A free bus service will be available to pick up walkers based in and around Maroochydore with a Kinetic bus departing from HomeCo Sunshine Coast at the bus stop near Super Cheap departing at 5.30am and dropping back after 8.30am. Please register and then contact heather@sunshinebutterflies.com.au to reserve your seat on the bus.
Walkers will create a kaleidoscope of colour as they embrace the playfulness of life & importance of creating an all-inclusive community in their colourful butterfly wings or in purple.
