Andy White, a renowned Irish singer-songwriter, tours globally with his 12-string guitar and a book of poetry. He has collaborated with artists like Peter Gabriel and Tim Finn, been part of the trio ALT, and won Ireland's top songwriting award. Since his breakthrough single ‘Religious Persuasion,’ Andy has released numerous internationally acclaimed albums.Born in Belfast, Andy has combined pop sensibility with lyrical excellence and social commentary throughout his career. His debut album, ‘Rave On Andy White,’ and the single ‘Religious Persuasion’ established him as a significant figure in the acoustic music scene. He has worked with iconic names like Van Morrison, Mary Black, and Sinead O’Connor, and was inducted into the Irish HQ Rock Hall of Fame in 1998.
Andy moved to Melbourne in 2002 and continues to create work of musical passion, lyrical depth, and relentless creativity.
