Victoria Welsh Choir Presents - Voices Unite , A Choral Extravaganza directed by Rushan Hewawasam. We will be joined by the internationally renowned brother duo The De Lanerolle Brothers from Sri Lanka.Now into its 45th year of music making, VicWelsh is a traditional Welsh male voice choir, singing in four-part harmony and presenting about twenty concerts a year mainly in Victoria.
Most of the choristers are from Melbourne but there is also an established and thriving Bendigo chapter and a budding Ballarat group.
Performing hymns, ballads, show tunes, arias and Celtic favourites that raise the roof in chapels and concert halls from Bangor to Bairnsdale, the choir is well known for its professionalism, humour and entertaining engagement with audiences young and old alike.
