Archibald Mosman: The Field of the Faithful Man (SOLD OUT)
Dimity Mortensen, has taken on the challenge of writing the first biography about Mosman’s namesake. It is a candid, and at times, confronting look at this enigmatic and controversial figure of 19th Century Australian Colonial society. Mortensen traces his life as a wealthy merchant, whaler, grazier, landholder from his time in Edinburgh and Liverpool in the UK, British West Indies, New Zealand and New South Wales.
