The Lions Club of Quilters Victoria is delighted to bring you our 'Meet the Maker' online event, via Zoom, for 2024 where we will explore the theme of contemporary quilts and quilting.We have a fantastic line up of speakers and special guests, including West Australian artist, Ruth de Vos, who will talk about her quilts that we have recently acquired for our Australian Quilt & Textile Collection. Jenny Bowker will also be joining us about her collection donation.
We will also hear from contemporary and award winning quilters, Simone Symonds and Tania Tanti, plus we will be joined by Brenda Woods Art Quilt Supplies, who will let you know about the latest trends in all things patchwork, quilting and textiles. There will also be much much more throughout the day.
This is an online event using Zoom. You will be sent the link a week before the event. Meet the Maker will run from 12.00 noon to 4 pm on Saturday 14th September 2024. We can't wait for you to join us!
