Ahead of the IFLA Information Futures Summit 2024, the Research and Effective Practices Seminar will focus on Libraries beside you all the way: Sustainable Reading at Every Age and Stage. The seminar will be held at Brisbane Square Library 28-29 September.

Marika Simon
Lecturer in the School of Information and Communication Studies.
Marika is part of the Teacher Librarianship team and received her MEd in Teacher Librarianship from Charles Sturt University. In addition to her MEd in Elementary Education from Boston University, Marika brings over 20 years of experience in primary education and teacher librarianship to her role. Her focus is on providing practical information and leveraging research to help teacher librarians improve their practice and realise their professional passions. Her passion for supporting other teacher librarians is evidenced by her various informal and formal mentoring roles and her 2021 Synergy article “A season of starting out: thoughts for new teacher librarians”.
