Djembe Workshops with Elliott Orr - 31 August 2024

Elliott is based in Byron Bay and is one of the most established and respected teachers of the djembe in Australia. He has been cultivating and sharing his deep love and knowledge of West African Djembe and Dunun music for over 30 years. His passionate and light-hearted teaching style creates a wonderful atmosphere for learning, sharing and celebration. It is an honour to be hosting a workshop for him here in Canberra, giving our community the opportunity to experience learning from him.

2.00-3.30pm Workshop for all levels ($40)
3.45-5.00pm Extension for Advanced drummers (additional $20)

BYO djembe or dundun or hire a djembe to play on the day for an extra $6.
