Local rising star Vincent Choy, is returning to the stage of Jazz Fremantle with his brand new quartet The Augmented Fours! This band will present a wide range of standard jazz repertoires by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Chick Corea & more. Vincent Choy is an emerging jazz guitarist who recently graduated at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He received the Jazz Honours Award for presenting the best graduation recital at The Ellington Jazz Club. He is currently a member of the National Jazz Orchestra Youth Big Band, which recently performed at the Sydney Con Jazz Festival and will be performing at the Perth International Jazz Festival. Vincent is also the guitarist of The Roaring 20s Jazz Orchestra, which had dazzled many audiences at Jazz Fremantle, The Milk Bar, and Rodney's Bait and Tackle. Joining Vincent Choy will also be the rising stars of the local Perth jazz scene: Oliver Taylor on saxophone, Alistair Peel on bass, William Wallace on drums.Location
