Join us for a tour of the Resource Recovery Centre, where you'll get an up-close look at our waste management operations. During the 45-minute to 1-hour tour, you'll have the opportunity to observe our processes, from waste sorting to recycling, and see how we ensure maximum return from our recycled waste products.The tour includes:
Introduction to Waste Management: Learn about the history and evolution of our site, which has transitioned from a landfill to a state-of-the-art resource recovery facility and transfer station.
Recycling categories: Discover many of our waste items we can recycle here at the RRC. See how we handle drop-offs, manage the collection and processing of textiles, problem waste, garden organics, and much more.
Upcycle Centre Visit: Explore the Upcycle Centre, our onsite shop, where you can shop for upcycled and repurposed items. See firsthand how we turn waste into valuable products.
Q&A Session: Engage with our knowledgeable staff and ask any questions you have
