The University of Adelaide's CSER Team have partnered with experts, Dr Caty Morris and Jesse King, proud Waanyi man from North-western QLD, in developing culturally responsive education materials to support educators across our projects & we are thrilled to announce they will be joining us for this session.
 
Culturally responsive education incorporates the rich & diverse First Nations Australian histories, cultures & knowledges within the classroom & has known 
benefits for all students.
 
In this short 30 minute session, we will define culturally responsive education and the many benefits and provide examples of how to harness this approach in the classroom.

About The CSER STEM Professional Learning Team at The University of adelaide

The CSER STEM Professional Learning Team is based at the University of Adelaide, in the Faculty of Sciences Engineering and Technologies, and offers a range of STEM based professional learning to in-service and pre-service teachers across Australia. 

Our team hosts a range of free online courses with thanks to support from Australian Government Department of Education and Google Australia, including:

  • Maths in Schools Online 3-6

  • Coming soon our updated AI in Schools (Primary)
  • Coming Soon our updated AI in Schools (Secondary)

CSER is also home to the National Lending Library where schools can borrow a range of digital technologies equipment for free with thanks to the support of the Australian Government Department of Education.
