Official opening of the Zeibekiko Festival Australia! A massive night planned with a lineup of entertainment with traditional and modern forms of Zeibekiko.MESSINIA CATERING is cooking up delectable Greek Mezzethes, antipasto platters, salads, dinner to include lamb and chicken on spit "kondosouvli" & more. Fruit platters. Drinks available at bar.
A journey into the Asia Minor history through music and dance.
Featuring from Greece the respected Yiannis Pagozidis, specializing in Pontian and Asia Minor dances. He is also an outstanding musician and will be entertaining us on the night LIVE, accompanied by Michael Platyrrahos & Giorgos Apostolidis.
Our local dance groups will decorate the event with their talented shows around the traditions of the Zeibekiko & 9/8 rhythm.
From Cyprus the internationally acclaimed Master of ZEIBEKIKO Christos Shakallis will perform and entertain the crowd.
