TICKET SALES CLOSING WEDNESDAY THE 11TH OF SEPTEMBER
Welcome to all the Grade 7 Fathers & Sons for 2024!
This will be our last father & son camp, and we've organised something special for this year's camp. We have secured a new venue with our own dedicated campsite at Noosa Camp, located within Noosa North Shore Retreat.
Why You Should Attend
Activities Include: Night time laser tag, mountain bike riding, indoor bouldering, giant swings, flying fox, bush orienteering race, cricket, volleyball, and both a handball and a fishing competition.
When and Where
Date: Join us on the King's Birthday long weekend, October 4th - 7th. It's an event you don't want to miss!
Location: Nestled in the pristine natural beauty of the Great Sandy National Park, Noosa Camp at Noosa North Shore Retreat is located at 1 Beach Rd, Noosa North Shore. The campsite is only accessible by car ferry.
What's Happening?
Friday: As there will be limited school sport on Saturday the 5th, we welcome you to join us either Friday evening or Saturday morning. Expect the weekend to be non-stop activities for the boys, including night-time laser tag and indoor bouldering!
Saturday: Arrive Saturday, check-in, and set up your tent or caravan. Activities commence from lunchtime. The Camp welcome is at 12pm, followed by a full afternoon of exciting activities.
Sunday: Weekend activities include night time laser tag, mountain bike riding, fishing competition, trivia night, tug of war, lucky door prizes, and a handball competition with prizes. Enjoy great food from the kitchen all weekend. We'll also watch the NRL Grand Final LIVE Sunday night!
Monday: Following another gourmet breakfast, all families are to pack up their tents and help clean and pack common areas. The camp finishes at 10 AM, then travel home.
Weekend Competitions:
For the first time, we will be offering a Mountain Bike competition. Don't forget your fishing rod for the fishing competition. Dads, start honing your handball skills again to join your sons in the handball competition - prizes are on offer.
What's Included in the Ticket Price?
- Camp site fees
- Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks
- All activities: laser tag, rock climbing, giant swings
- Communal tent with lighting, tables, and kitchen
What's Not Included in the Ticket Price?
- Bike hire: You can bring your own bike or hire directly from the Retreat. To reserve a bike, book via the ticketing option when purchasing a campsite ticket. The cost is $100 for the weekend, payable directly to the resort on the day of hire.
Accommodation/Bookings:
The committee has worked hard to keep the ticket price the same as previous years - $350. This year we have reduced it to $320 to cover the $30 car ferry return ticket. You will pay for the ferry service directly with the operator.
Ticket Options:
Tent Camping:
$320 (includes two people). This year you will be allocated a Tent site on arrival. You can also request to be camped next to other other families. Email your request once all parties have purchased tickets. The cut-off date for requests is Wednesday, September 11th. Please note: No power or water supplied for tent sites. A power bank for charging phones/devices will be available in the main building.
Caravan/RV Camping: SOLD OUT
$440 ($320 + $120 includes two people). Just like previous years, you can book a powered/water caravan site. We only have 17 caravan sites available. Register for Tent camping then select the Caravan/RV surcharge option. Please note you need to provide or rent your own caravan/RV which is not included in the price.
Cabins: SOLD OUT
$420 (includes two people). There are 16 very basic cabins available to rent, which include bunk beds but no bathroom or power (just lighting). Cabins are all located together in one building.
Off Site Accommodation:
There are no offsite accommodation tickets/options available as has been the case in previous years. The reason for this is we now have a designated site, Noosa Camp, within the campground and we require all families to stay within the designated site. You can book one of the 16 basic cabins as listed above or hire a caravan or a glamour tent and have it delivered to site.
What to Bring:
- Tent and sleeping gear (mattress, sleeping bags). Basic cabins just require bed linen/sleeping bags
- Torches/lantern/head torch
- 2 chairs
- Esky with ice and drinks
- Nibbles and lollies
- Swimmers & towels
- Drink bottles
- Hats (no caps will be provided this year)
- Bike, helmet, protective gear
