This is a registration to be on our guestlist.Join us for an exclusive My Melbourne fashion experience at the NGV, featuring a talk by Dorcas Maphakela, program co-curator. Dorcas will share her insights and expertise, providing context to the stunning pieces on display.
Coming to Melbourne from the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) in London, the Australian premiere of Africa Fashion features nearly 200 works, including couture, bespoke and ready-to-wear fashions, and body adornments, from over 50 designers from more than 20 countries and regions on the African continent.
Please meet in front of the water wall at the NGV International at 2.30pm for a 3.00pm start.
This event is only for current international students or recent student graduates. Student ID will be required on the day for check in with our team.
The NGV Africa Fashion experience is part of the My Melbourne Program, City of Melbourne.
