Come and join us for our celebratory 40th year as a continuously running Festival dedicated to poetry, with a great 4 days of entertainment. Showcasing a diverse range of poets/poetry and some musical highlights to delight the senses. We kick off with Lucie Thorne's book launch (Thursday the 10th October at Sporties Lounge Bar) dedicated to her late father Tim - the founder of the Tasmanian Poetry Festival in 1985. The rest of the Festival will be held at The Hotel Grand Chancellor, 29 Cameron St. Launceston. On Friday night come along and meet our guest poets and enjoy drinks and nibbles then our Friday Feature event after that. Followed by a jam packed weekend of poets and poetry including the iconic Launceston Poetry Cup. A great discounted package price for the whole event at up to 20% off indivually priced events.
