About
A free event organised by the Ivanhoe Catholic Earthcare Group and the Uniting Church Banyule Climate Action Group and supported by the Banyule city Council is to be held at the Ivanhoe Library Yarra-me Djila Theatrette. It will provide participants with an opportunity to consider what it is like to own and drive an electric vehicle, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicle.For example, What are the pros and cons? What are the running costs? Are they good for long journeys? Are they easy to drive and
maintain?
Banyule City Council's Community Energy Officer, will open the event with a short presentation followed by an informal Q&A with a few local EV, hybrid drivers.
At the conclusion of the session there will be an opportunity to view several cars that will be on display and to talk to their owners.
