PLEASE NOTE: Our pilot aptitude assessment booking portal is currently closed. We look forward to welcoming candidates again from May 2026.In partnership, CAE Melbourne and Swinburne University will be hosting Selection Days for upcoming intakes of our Piloting programs. Candidates are required to attend one of the available selection days and should expect to be available for the full day.
If you are applying to commence your program in Semester 2, 2026, you must complete the selection day by no later than June 2026.
If you are applying to commence your program in Semester 1, 2027 or later, you may sign up for any of our sessions between May and December 2026. Please note, you cannot receive an offer of admission unless you have successfully completed the selection day. If you want to receive an offer as soon as possible, you should book an earlier date.
The Selection Days will be held at:
Swinburne University of Technology – Hawthorn Campus
545 Burwood Rd (Corner of Henry St), Hawthorn, VIC 3122, Australia
Parking: Henry St Public Parking
If you are unable to attend a selection day in person, you can sign up for one of our online sessions.
During the Selection Day, candidates will participate in the following assessment activities:
Pilot Skills Assessment Test (SAT)
Discussion with a staff member of the training team
Simulator Experience in Swinburne’s Aviation Simulation Laboratory
