EFT in Action: Essential Skills for Empty Chair Work
The AIEFT is excited to be hosting the workshops ‘Emotion focused therapy in action’, run by Barry Strmelj. These workshops are suitable for practitioners with a background in EFT training (at least EFT Level 1) and who utilise, or are looking to incorporate EFT into their work with clients.
Empty chairwork is a key task in EFT for creating emotional change. It is an evocative and powerful tool for processing unmet childhood needs. In this workshop, the core elements of empty chairwork will be identified and discussed and participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their own practice. We will explore the complexities of working with unfinished business and how it might get off track and how to get it back on. The workshop will offer opportunities for learning through experiential exercises, demonstrations and practice sessions.
*Each workshop is designed to be attended independently; there are no requirement to attend all of them.
