Teens 4 x Week Lino block printmaking - focusing on birds
About
Drawing, design, composition, carving, negative space, inking and printing are just a few topics that will be explored during classes in our 4 x week Teens Lino Block printmaking sessions. Students will learn to develop their image, establish a lino block, print an assorted amount of prints on paper and even create a personalised tote bag! During the classes a rubber carving base will be used for the block, this material is easier to carve and is safer from slipping with the carving tool. This lino block session will focus on birds. We will have images of birds for participants to gather inspiration from, students are also invited to bring their bird pictures along as inspiration!Location
