Haymarket Chamber of Commerce and Furama Hotel cordially invite you to join us for this year’s Mid-Autumn (Moon) Festival celebration in Sydney’s Chinatown.Mid-Autumn Festival is generally regarded as the second most important celebration in the lunar calendar after the new year.
Canapes and drinks will be served throughout the evening including award-winning wines from our Chamber member Millon Wines.
There will be a special Guzheng music performance by musicians from the Sydney Guyun Yaxuan Guzheng Arts Academy.
Another highlight of the evening will be a 21-step Gongfu style tea ceremony to be performed by our Chamber member, Cara Chen of Altitude Tea. Tea will be served to all guests, to be enjoyed with mooncakes specially catered by a valued member of our community, Gong Grocer.
