Escape into the serene soundscape of Brahms' second symphony with the exceptional young musicians of the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Guest Conductor Jack Machin. 'Serenity & Solitude' also features two Mendelssohn works: the Overture in C Major for winds, brass and percussion; and the Hebrides Overture (Fingal's Cave) - an iconic study in loneliness and solitude, described by Richard Wagner as 'one of the most beautiful pieces we possess'.
