More than just a race, the Queensberry Cup is a street festival and a celebration of the diverse communities of North Melbourne and West Melbourne - local residents, businesses, students and workers.

For one day, Errol St. is closed, the haybales mark the track and billycarts zoom down the hill. Plus the multi-dimensional street party on Queensberry St.

Now in its third year, the Billycart Challenge is the centrepiece of the event. How will you navigate the turning course?

Big prizes will be awarded for the fastest in various age categories and the most creative. First prize for Open Category: $1000 to spend at local North Melbourne shops.

There are also lots of sessions leading up to the big day where you can get expert guidance on designing and building your vehicle, as well as access to materials and tools.
