2024 Hosworth Foundation FIDE High Flyers
About
This is one of South Australia's premier events and is restricted to players rated Under 1600. It will be played over 3 days - Saturday 5th October - Monday 7th October and has 9 rounds - 10am, 1pm and 4pm each day. It is FIDE and ACF rated. The time control is 60 minutes + 30 second increment each move. Players may request up to TWO half-point bye in rounds 1-8 but not the last round. Forfeit time is 30 minutes from the start of play. The Entry Fee is $90 for an adult, $70 Concession for Seniors, Students and Unemployed. Juniors are $60.Players are expected to check-in to the first round at least 15 minutes before the start otherwise they will be excluded from the first round draw.
The 2024 Hosworth Foundation FIDE High Flyers is run alongside the Hosworth Grand Prix.
