Inaugural celebration of the grape Nero d'Avola in McLaren Vale, SA. Hosted by Brash Higgins, one of the first to plant the Sicilian variety 15 years ago in 2009. Public tasting feat. top Vale Nero producers. Plus, Sicilian benchmark Neros-COS, Occhipinti, Criante-and fresh island whites on by the glass to wash down the grilled sardines.
Sicilian morsels by chefs Hayley White and Amanda Geddes of Salopian Inn fame.
