Western Sydney High School Symposium of Art
About
This event is an opportunity for Year 12 Visual Arts students to come together for a day of artistic inspiration and artmaking, with three leading artists demonstrating their skills and art practice in a short lecture for all students. Students will all break into four small groups of 25 to undertake an artist led workshop.The intent of the workshops is for students to to have the opportunity to make a completed artwork to be exhibited at the ‘Nepean Festival of Art and Design’ held at Nepean CAPA HS on Friday 15 November 2024.
This event is open to Visual Arts students in Year 12 2024-2025 from the following schools: St Marys Senior High School, Nepean CAPA High School, Penrith Selective High School, Cambridge Park High School, Jamison High School, Glenmore Park High School, Kingswood High School, Erskine Park High School, St Clair High School, Colyton High School, Chifley College Senior Campus, and Cranebrook High School.
