Cards that Tell Tales from Christmas’ Past!Experience the rich history of Christmas with our Vintage Festive Card Making Class. Using pre-dyed distressed cardstock, vintage ephemera, lace, buttons and ribbons, we'll create one-of-a-kind cards that tell the story of Christmas throughout the ages…revisit the past as we decorate trees, sing carols, hang stockings and ice skate into the past.
Our cards will be a tapestry of nostalgia, bringing to life the magic of Christmases gone by!
In this hands-on workshop we will:
- Learn the art of aging paper to add depth and character
- Design cards using vintage elements
- Apply embellishments like stitching, stamping, buttons & ribbbons to cards
- Learn more about what Christmas was like in this era
You will take home a set of Vintage styled greeting cards, enjoy listening to Christmas music from the era as you craft. Drift away back in time for the afternoon in lovely Docklands.
