Djirra's 16 Days of Activism Walk around Lake Canberra 2024
About
For Aboriginal women, 16 Days of Activism provides a unique opportunity to amplify our voices and draw attention to our self-determined solutions to put an end to the devastating impact that gendered violence has on Aboriginal women’s and children’s lives. This year, as part of Djirra’s 16 Days of ACTIVEism campaign, Antoinette Braybrook AM is walking with friends and allies around Lake Burley Griffin Canberra. By joining you can stand in solidarity with Djirra and victim survivors, show your support, and GET ACTIVE IN YOUR ACTIVEism to ensure Aboriginal women and children’s safety and lives are valued, and our self-determination invested in.
The Bridge to Bridge walk is a 5km loop (Commonwealth Ave Bridge to Kings Ave Bridge) in the heart of our nation's capital.
Bring a water bottle and your workmates, friends, family and your dog! T-shirts will be provided.
