This class explores the creation of ink (fountain pen) and watercolour art.Ink lines and shading are a nice application to create forms, shapes to define subject, perspective and volume.
Practical instruction in the application of ink washes and watercolour drawing on individual ability and preferences.
Discussion of different techniques in watercolour effects.
Colour mixing will be examined.
We will explore different subjects, from landscape to buildings, still life to an indoor space, people.
We will attempt to work with weather – skies, a clear day to a storm brewing.
