The training will be developed in line with recommendations from the Department of Health regarding SIRS requirements.
This workshop will provide participants with guidance to:

Describe practical strategies to lead a culture of safety.
Describe an incident management system.
Guidance on responding to incidents.
Documentation and reporting requirements.
Analyse and investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Trend incidents for continuous improvement.
Utilise available resources for effective incident management.

Suitable for: clinical managers, team leaders, frontline workers and volunteers delivering Commonwealth Home Support Program services and home care services.
