CMS concert on 6 September 2025 Romantic Piano Trios
Join pianist Kristian Chong, clarinettist Philip Arkinstall and cellist Rohan de Korte, three of Australia’s most distinguished musicians as they present a veritable banquet of Romantic Piano trios. The concert will be book-ended by Beethoven’s early Clarinet Trio Op 11, and the masterwork of all clarinet trios, Brahms’ noble Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op 114. Also featured will be works by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla and Clara Schumann, whose works are deservedly re-entering the standard repertoire.
