About
After a comedic effort to start Act 1 at the end of the story (spoiler - there's a Giant Squid...), the inhabitants of a seaside town tell the audience the tale of the strange silvery sea creature everyone is wondering about (MYSTERY I), JULES VERNE the intrepid reporter is eager to investigate and enlists the help of PROFESSOR ARRONAX the marine biologist, CONSEIL the great explorer, and NED – who is good at catching fish.However, before they can begin their quest, the creature finds them first – the mysterious beast is of course a submarine, and the team meet quirky CAPTAIN NEMO, get a tour of the vessel, and are introduced to the Nautilus’ crew/audience (AY AY, CAPTAIN NEMO). The captain is on a quest to find the lost city of Atlantis which the others happily join (MYSTERY II).
All performers eight years and above are invited to audition. Auditions will take place at The Fab Factory - Factory 33, Industry Place, Bayswater, 3153 - on 7 November 2024.
