About Dementia - for ACVVS Volunteer Visitors (SOLD OUT)
Dementia can effect people in different ways and may progress slowly or quickly. By learning more about the condition and how to make the most of your volunteer visits, you can create more meaningful moments for both you and the person you're visiting.
Dementia Australia will be presenting, sharing information on understanding dementia, offer helpful communication strategies, and provide tips on how to connect in ways that bring comfort and joy to those living with it.
All ACVVS volunteer visitors are encouraged to join.
To meet demand, future sessions will be offered if this program books out.
