Don River Railway 50 Year Celebration

The railway has made a conscious effort to discount our tickets for the weekend to make it as accessible as possible for all. 

We now have 3 standard options.

Adult Pass 18+ $25.00

Child Pass 4-17 $13.00

3 & Under Free

Your entry pass allows you to enter the event. You can enter anytime throughout the day during the opening hours specified.
We would allow approximately 2 hours to enjoy all the event offers.
We will have multiple trains running leaving regularly from Don River Railway, a timetable will not be in effect, instead, you'll join a line for the next departing train.

Please note trains are subject to finish an hour prior to the days opening times.

All existing tickets will be honoured as specified.

Friday 14^th 5:30pm arrival
Enjoy an evening train special like no other, with a triple headed train journey, before spending a night in our function space with a full bar open for purchase, roast meal & live entertainment from Clinton Hutton Band until late.

Due to venue limitations, Please note the meal will not be fully seated at tables.
However there will enough seating spread around the facility indoor/outdoor for everyone.

Don River Railway Volunteer & Life Member Celebration Free
A free gourmet bbq will be held on Saturday night for all of the volunteers helping out with the weekend, The Don River Railways life members & all of the organisations volunteers.
Entry for the bbq will be at 6oclock & is proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Devonport North.
Due to significant expected numbers, you must rsvp for catering purposes to events@donriverrailway.com.au or by calling 0427 637 310.

Traffic

A Traffic management plan will be in place with local speed restrictions and a full parking plan.
Details of this will be released closer to the event.

A road run between Latrobe & Don River Railway for the Traction engines is also planned in the lead up to the event & details of this will be posted to social media.
