The life and times of Madame Brussels

The life and times of Madame Brussels

About

Madame Brussels, the most legendary brothel keeper in nineteenth-century Melbourne, is still remembered and talked about today. But until now, little has been known about Caroline Hodgson, the woman behind the alter ego.
Join us for an evening with author and historian Barbara Minchinton as she chats with Jacinta Parsons about the life and times of one of Melbourne’s most notorious women.
Suitable for adults. Free event and bookings required.
