Silverdale Rifle Range will be holding a Longarm Safe Handling Course for individuals interested in applying for a NSW Firearms Licence for Longarms.Running for approximately 3 hours, the course covers areas such as how to safely handle your firearm and ammunition, how different types of firearms work and how to use them, transporting and storage of firearms, and firearms legislation in NSW.
You will be assessed by both a written test and practical assessment. If you successfully complete the course you will be issued with a certificate of completion, which is a necessary prerequisite to complete your application for a firearms licence through the NSW Firearms Registry.
After completing this course, you can purchase a try shooting experience at a discounted rate of $150.00. This can be purchased now or on the day, but the experience must be done on the same day as the course.
