Christmas with Concordis
Join Concordis Chamber Choir on Sunday 1 December at Collingwood Town Hall for a festive afternoon of choral splendour. Bring your favourite food and drinks to enjoy while we fill the hall with the spirit of the season.
This year’s program is a beautiful blend of timeless Christmas classics and contemporary favourites. We are proud to present O Holy Night, arranged by our very own chorister Ned Dixon, alongside Christmas Lullaby and a beloved Concordis tradition, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, both arranged by former composer-in-residence Nicholas Buc.
From the reverent beauty of Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium to the uplifting energy of Moses Hogan’s This Little Light of Mine, the program is sure to inspire joy, peace, and reflection. Other highlights include the stirring harmonies of Peter Anglea's Silent Night, and Dan Forrest’s moving The Work of Christmas, reminding us of the true meaning of the season.
Christmas with Concordis will be a joyous way to ring in the holiday season and end the year on a high note. We can’t wait to celebrate the spirit of Christmas with you!
