Frittole Classes #5 - 2025 (CANCELLED)

About
Did you know Frittole have a long history and the first record of frittelle alla veneziana dates back to the 13th century. They were so common in all the Northern part of Italy that making frittole became a profession, and they even founded their own association! Frittole are a symbol of the Carnevale in Venice and a favourite dessert all over Italy with regional changes to the names and recipes, especially in the south where they are referred to as zeppole. In Australia they have been called “those little Italian donuts” – but the basics are similar. At our class we will teach you how to make frittole with a recipe used by our Ladies Auxiliary for decades.Arrive at 6:45pm for 7:00pm start. Cost is $25 for VC members, and $30 for non-members. CASH on the night please
Includes demonstration, glass of Prosecco on arrival, eat lots of freshly cooked frittole & take home some dough to try cooking yourself. You will also receive our special recipe!
