Mansions of Glenelg Walking Tour

About
By the mid-1880s, the sand dunes of Glenelg’s esplanade had long given way to the summer residences of the prominent and wealthy of South Australia. Previously known as Albert Parade, and then Seawall, South Esplanade was once a promenade of magnificent Victorian mansions and summer gardens. With time, these mansions slowly began to occupy land beyond the dunes, morphing Glenelg’s streets into a suburb of character and charm.Location
