The GRDC NGN Forum provides an opportunity for anyone involved in the grains industry to bring forward ideas including opportunities and constraints which are relevant to the grains industry.The forums are one of several mechanisms GRDC uses to capture constraints or opportunities impacting grower profitability. The interaction at these events between GRDC and the forum attendees are designed to create outcomes that help shape and inform GRDC RD&E investments. The NGN forums will be a two-way conversation between growers and GRDC. Forum attendees are able to hear information on current GRDC investments and are able to ask GRDC staff and panel members questions around them.
The forums are open to all growers, advisors, researchers and industry parties and are facilitated by a GRDC Grower Relations Manager in a casual setting. The session includes a group discussion followed by presentations on relevant research or issues.
