Recent accolades include a swag of Sydney Blues Society awards in 2023 & 2024 including Best Songwriter, Best Traditional Blues, Artist's Choice & Artist of the Year. In January 2023, against 160 artists from around the world, he won the prestigious Memphis International Blues Challenge, considered to be the most esteemed Blues Competition in the world becoming only the third artist outside of North America to accomplish this in the events 40 year history and ensuring his place in blues & roots history.
