The Preston Symphony Orchestra’s final concert for 2025 puts Dvořák’s symphony ‘From the New World’ alongside the third symphony of American composer Florence Price. Price’s sound world was conjured from African-American traditions combined with the modernism of the interwar years. This is not a concert to be missed! The conductor is Andrew Groch.Online ticket sales cut off is 11.30am on the day of the concert, but tickets can also be purchased at the concert box office from around 2pm if any remain available.
