Hosted by Aquaphobia CEO Mike Burman, this session will focus on understanding and overcoming the fear of water – a challenge that affects many people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.Water confidence is a valuable skill for everyone, yet it’s common for individuals from CALD backgrounds to feel uncertain or fearful around water. Factors like limited exposure, cultural barriers, or negative experiences often contribute to an ongoing sense of aquaphobia.
