School Holidays: Australia’s Mission Control (ages 8-14)

There are millions of pieces of space junk in orbit around Earth and we rely heavily on satellites for so many things. For example, Google Maps, GPS, card payments, communications and more! So… How do we keep track of it all? How do we know what is space junk and what’s not? Learn from us, Saber Astronautics, from Australia’s Responsive Space Operations Centre at the Australian Space Discovery Centre.
Missed out on this session? Why not visit us during one of our family friendly public sessions from 10am to 5pm daily (during school holidays).
Entry is free and tickets are no longer required for public sessions.
