The Parish Renewal Team invites clergy, religious, and lay faithful of the Archdiocese of Sydney, to discern their charisms in-person.

The Called & Gifted Discernment Process is designed to help Christians identify and nurture their charisms, which are special abilities given to all Christians by the Holy Spirit to give them power both to represent Christ and to be a channel of God's goodness for people. 

Session Dates and Times

The Called & Gifted Discernment Process consists of several parts. All parts are necessary for discovering where you are uniquely gifted.

Part 1 - Workshops

Preparation Workshop - Tuesday 25 February, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

All-day intensive - Saturday 1 March, 9:00am - 5:00pm  

Part 2 - Gifts Interviews

Participants will schedule and undertake a personal one-hour interview, between Monday 3 March and Monday 31 March.

Part 3 - In-depth Discernment, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Tuesday 1 April, Tuesday 15 April, Tuesday 6 May, Tuesday 20 May

Mode: The Workshops (Part 1) and the In-depth Discernment (Part 3) will take place in-person. Interviews (Part 2) will be online via Zoom.
