2025 Block 1: 10 Mondays, 27/01/2025-31/03/2025A mix of Suzuki Training, Grotowski and Thursday Group variations:
Co-facilitator at Thursday Group, Tessa Marie Luminati leads sessions at our studios in North Melbourne. We explore the synthesis of actor training disciplines, Suzuki Method of Actor Training, Grotowski impulse and co-devising techniques and Thursday Group variations. Participants learn Suzuki Training and create bridges between these and Grotowski's embodied impulse work. Tessa bridges practice training to co-devising performance. Participants present mid and end-of-year WIP showings to an invited audience. Be ready for intense physical, vocal and imaginative training and exploration.
