The 2025 Safeguarding Conference will focus on Domestic and Family Violence, aiming to enhance understanding and awareness of its challenges. Featuring speakers from law enforcement, the Department of Communities and Justice, and other agencies, the event will provide a comprehensive overview of family violence.Our goal is to provide you with valuable knowledge, tools, and resources that will help you better support those in your communities who may be experiencing family violence. We are committed to ensuring that you have the guidance and support necessary to offer effective help in your communities.
We warmly invite all clergy of the Archdiocese of Sydney and others by Invitation only to attend this fully funded conference and note that this event will replace the mandatory annual safeguarding training that all Clergy are required to attend.
This is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and engage in important discussions on a topic crucial to our mission.
