An introductory course to archery, suitable for people with no prior experience. Completion is a prerequisite for club membership.
Each course involves 3 classes running from 1:30pm to 4:30pm on consecutive Sundays (weather permitting).
Attendees will be provided use of the club's recurve bows for the duration of the course. Those interested in compound bows or traditional european and asiatic bows can try these during the third class. Advice on these bows can be provided by instructors after completion of the full course.
For children between the ages of 10-13 we recommend you come down for an equipment test before booking so we can make sure we have something suitable for them.
All equipment is supplied by the club. Participants are advised against purchasing equipment prior to completion of their course and reasons for this will be made clear at the initial class. Advice can be provided on equipment selection after completion.
