Join Fred Negro, (front man of the infamous ‘I spit on your gravy’ and renowned graphic artist) and his special guest, Paul Elliot – aka Dr Gonzo – for a deep dive into the laneways, band rooms and strange history of St Kilda’s underground music scene on a walking tour, Saturday 25 May.A longtime voice on 3CR and a key player in Melbourne’s punk and art scenes, Dr Gonzo managed cult bands like I Spit On Your Gravy and co-produced their infamous 1985 EP St Kilda’s Alright! (the one that got seized by police). He also ran Polyester Rock’n’Roll Management and launched the wild Gong Show series at The Venue in St Kilda.
